Since its opening in May 2017, Restaurant KARRisma has established itself as a premier culinary destination within the historic island center of Lindau. Nestled in the charming, meticulously restored Boutique Hotel Adara, the restaurant overlooks the picturesque Old School Square (Alter Schulplatz).

In 2024, KARRisma achieved a historic milestone as the first establishment on Lindau Island in three decades to be honored with a Michelin Star. Head Chef Julian Karr crafts extraordinary dishes characterized by creativity and technical finesse, weaving together surprising aromas that captivate the palate.

The philosophy is rooted in a commitment to fresh, regional ingredients, sourced – wherever possible – from local farmers and producers in the surrounding area.

At KARRisma, the focus is on authenticity rather than artifice. It is a space defined by personal warmth, where guests encounter both the distinctive culinary signature of Julian Karr and his sincere sense of hospitality.
